The conference will be held on the third floor of the Dallas Campus, where is in the heart of downtown Dallas. The following information (to our best knowledge) is for reference only. The average temperature in May is about 63-83 degree F (17-28 degree C).

Hotels: The local committee signed a contract with Magnolia Hotel Dallas for a limited number of rooms for the conference at $125/night plus tax (the rooms at $105 are no longer available). Located at 1401 Commerce Street, Dallas, TX 75202, Magnolia Hotel Dallas is about 0.4 mile from the Dallas Campus building, and 0.2 mile from AkardDART station.

There are many other hotels near the conference site. Some are in walking distance, some can provide free shuttle service, and some are near a DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) train station.Hotels in downtown Dallas usually charge for parking. Based on your budget and transportation needs, when you book a hotel, you may want to ask what the cancelation policy is, if the hotel can provide free shuttle service taking you to the conference site, or if the hotel nears a DART station that you can take a train to the conference, and if the hotel charges for parking. The following hotels are in walking distance:

Hotel Indigo Dallas Downtown (1933 Main Street, Dallas, TX): This hotel is connected to the Dallas Campus building via skywalk, and walking outdoors will not be necessary to access the building.
Sheraton (400 N. Olive Street, Dallas, TX): 1.5 blocks from the entrance to the Dallas Campus building.
Homewood Suites by Hilton-Dallas Downtown (1025 Elm Street, Dallas, Texas, 75202): 0.5 mile from the Dallas Campus Building.
Crowne Plaza Dallas Downtown (1015 Elm Street Dallas, Texas 75202): 0.5 mile from the Dallas Campus Building.
Holiday Inn Dallas Market Center (4500 Harry Hines Boulevard Dallas, Texas 75219 United States): 3 miles from the Dallas Campus Building. The hotel provides complementary parking and shuttle to the downtown. You may take the Green or Orange Line of DART for attending the conference as well: Use the St. Paul Station and Market Center Station with a total walking of about 0.6 mile.

Airlines:The official airline for this conference is United Airlines. Conference attendees may get (in most cases) a 5% discount on scheduled service to the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport on published fares from May 11, 2015 to May 19, 2015. This discount is not valid with other discounts, certificates, coupons, or promotional offers.

To make a reservation, on www.united.com, type DFW for the arrival airport and select Dallas/Fort Worth-All Airports. At Offer Code, enter ZUAD910364. Reservations can also be made by calling United Reservations Meetings Desk at 800-426-1122 and provide the Z Code ZUAD and Agreement Code 910364. For all tickets issued through United Meetings Reservations Desk, there will be a $25 per ticket service fee collected. This fee is subject to change without notice. Such service fee is non-refundable and applies to all itineraries, one way or round-trip. Attendees should feel free to use any airlines they prefer. This is an option if they can save some money.

Airports: Two commercial airports serve Dallas.

The Dallas Fort-Worth International Airport (DFW): This is the major airport in Dallas. There are a lot direct flights to many countries.All international airlines use this airport. It is about 18 miles (28 kilometers) to the conference location and Hotel Indigo-Downtown Dallas.
The Dallas Love Field Airport: It is about 7 miles (11 kilometers) to the conference location and Hotel Indigo-Downtown Dallas. Domestic flights are provided by Southwest Airlines at this airport.

Transportation between Airports and Hotels in Downtown Dallas:

Taxi: about 25 minutes and $48 from DFW to hotels in downtown Dallas.
Rental Cars at airports

Public Transportation, the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART): this option is only for information since it needs a longer distance of walking and is not so convenient, though it costs less. Basically, you will take the DART Orange Line to the downtown Dallas, and get off at Akard Station. Then you either walk to your hotel (about 5 minutes), or take taxi to your hotel.
To take the Orange Line
- At DFW, you need to take the Skylink or Terminal Link to Terminal A, see the webpage at http://www.dart.org/riding/dfwairport.asp#orangeline.
- At the Love Field Airport, take DART's Bus Route 524 to the Inwood/Love Field Station, then take the Orange Line. See the webpage, http://www.dart.org/riding/lovefield.asp.

Parking: Near the conference location, meter parking is available on Elm, Main, Harwood, Pacific and Commerce Street. However, if no meter parking is open, you may consider parking garages:
